I only need to train one more Learner. Can I buy one seat?
Add more training capacity by upgrading your subscription in predefined seat increments.
Seats cannot be purchased one at a time. You must upgrade your subscription in increments of 5 for accounts under 50 seats, or 10 for accounts of 50+ seats. Upgrade your subscription by using the instructions below.

What You'll Need
- Administrative access to the EasyLlama dashboard
- Billing authority for your organization
- Knowledge of current seat count and needed capacity
- Payment method information
- Access to Settings > Billing
Quick Reference
- Small accounts (<50 seats): Upgrade in increments of 5 seats
- Large accounts (50+ seats): Upgrade in increments of 10 seats
- Not available: Individual seat purchases or custom increments
Upgrade Your Subscription
Step 1: Access billing settings
- Log in to the Dashboard.
- From the left navigation menu, click Settings > Billing.
Step 2: Review current subscription
Locate your Current Subscription tile showing:
- Current seat count
- Subscription tier
- Renewal date
- Current pricing
Step 3: Initiate upgrade
Click Upgrade on the Current Subscription tile.
Step 4: Select new seat count
Based on the current account size:
For accounts under 50 seats:
- Available increments: +5 seats per upgrade step
- Example: 25 seats → 30 seats → 35 seats → etc.
For accounts with 50+ seats:
- Available increments: +10 seats per upgrade step
- Example: 50 seats → 60 seats → 70 seats → etc.
Step 5: Complete purchase
- Review new total seat count and updated pricing
- Confirm payment method or enter new payment details
- Accept any updated terms and conditions
- Complete the purchase
Quick Questions
Can I purchase just 1 additional seat?
No. The minimum upgrade is 5 seats for accounts under 50 seats, or 10 seats for accounts with 50+ seats.
What if I need exactly 47 seats but can only buy in 5-seat increments?
You would need to purchase 50 seats (the next available increment) and have 3 unused seats until you grow into them.
Are upgrades prorated?
Yes. You pay only for the additional seats for the remaining time in your billing cycle.
Can I downgrade my seat count?
Seat reductions are typically handled at renewal time. Contact billing support for mid-cycle reduction options.
