Justworks Integration

Automatically sync employee data from Justworks to your EasyLlama dashboard nightly for streamlined learner management and automated training assignments

Before You Start

What You'll Need

  • Administrative access to both your EasyLlama dashboard and Justworks account
  • Ability to add a service user with admin permissions in Justworks
  • Access to Settings > Integrations

Connect Justworks via Merge

Step 1: Configure Justworks service user

Follow the Merge platform instructions to add a service user with admin permissions to your Justworks account. Detailed guidance is available in the Merge documentation.

Step 2: Contact EasyLlama

Within the EasyLlama Dashboard, click Settings > Integrations > Contact Us on the Merge tile, or email us at support@easyllama.com. Provide the following information:

  • The Justworks admin’s email address
  • Organization name

Step 3: Click the Magic Link to Connect the Integration

EasyLlama will send an email containing a magic link to the email address you provided. Click on the magic link within 7 days to connect the integration.

Tip: Allow the first sync to complete without enabling auto-assignment to verify data accuracy before automating training assignments.

To ensure a successful sync:

  • All Learners must have a work address in Justworks. Their address determines their location in EasyLlama, which, if applicable, will assign the correct state or region-specific courses for Harassment Prevention, HIPAA, and Workplace Violence.
  • Supervisors should have at least one direct report assigned to them in JustWorks to appear as supervisors in EasyLlama. This ensures the user is assigned the Supervisor version of the Harassment Prevention Training.
