SFTP Certificates Export
Automatically upload completion certificates to your SFTP server.
EasyLlama now offers an SFTP Certificate Export integration that allows you to automatically upload completion certificates to your SFTP server. This is a one-way integration that exports certificates as PDFs when learners complete their training courses.
See this article for the SFTP integration to import learners to EasyLlama
Step 1: Prepare Your SFTP Server
You'll need to set up an SFTP server to receive the certificate files. Ensure you have:
- A dedicated directory for the certificates
- Proper write permissions for the upload user
- Sufficient storage space for PDF files
- Available on port 22
Step 2: Obtain SFTP Credentials
You'll need to provide EasyLlama with the following SFTP server details:
- Host: Your SFTP server's IP address or hostname
- User: Username with write permissions
- Password: Password for the SFTP user
- Directory: The path where certificates should be uploaded
Step 3: Enable the Integration
- Navigate to your EasyLlama dashboard
- Go to Integrations
- Select "SFTP Certificates Export"
- Enter your SFTP credentials
- Click "Add Integration"
Step 5: Your Integration Syncs Daily
That's it! You will receive completion certificates daily. Once enabled, the integration will:
- Automatically detect new completion certificates
- Generate PDF files if not already created
- Upload certificates to your SFTP server
- Include your company logo on certificates (if configured)
Additional Information
- The integration runs automatically - no manual intervention required
- Only new certificates (created after the last sync) will be uploaded
- Each certificate includes the learner's name, training title, and completion date
- Failed uploads will be retried during the next sync
- You can monitor the integration status in your EasyLlama dashboard
- The integration can be temporarily disabled if needed
- Certificates will be automatically uploaded with the following naming convention:
- [learner-name]_[training-title]_[completion-date].pdf
