Phishing Simulator: Quick Setup Guide
The Phishing Simulator is a core component of the EasyLlama Security Awareness Training solution. Follow these steps to complete your initial setup.
⚠️Heads up: You can complete the initial setup immediately, but you’ll need to make sure your organization’s email system allows our simulator emails to reach your learners. Share this link with your IT team before launching your first campaign.
Access the Phishing Simulator
Navigate to the dashboard’s sidebar and click on the fishhook icon to select Phishing Simulator.

You'll see an overview screen of the tool's features and benefits. Click Next to advance to the Setup screen.
Answer Three Setup Questions
The setup screen asks three questions to map recommended campaign templates to your organization's profile. Don’t worry, if anything changes, you can recalibrate these settings at any time under the Settings tab!
Question 1: What is your organization's security awareness level?
Select the security awareness level that best describes your organization. If you are unsure, or awareness varies by department (e.g., IT has expert awareness while other departments are more basic), select the Mixed option.
Question 2: What software types does your organization use?
Click the menu to view available software tooling types. Select all that apply to your organization—this ensures you receive the most relevant phishing simulator templates.
Use the search bar if you can't find what you're looking for by scrolling.
Click Save to lock in your selections.

Question 3: What is your organization’s industry?
Select your industry. This enables contextual benchmarking of your organization's risk profile.
Click Save to confirm.

Generate Recommended Campaigns
After answering all three questions, click Next.
You'll be brought to the Campaigns tab, where you’ll see your Risk Analysis Report and Recommended templates based on the information you provided and the number of learners you have added to your dashboard.
Risk Analysis Report
The Risk Analysis Report gives your team a clear, data-driven picture of your organization’s security awareness risk and practical steps to reduce that risk.
To see a more in-depth, shareable analysis, click View Full Analysis. You’ll see a profile for your organization based on the information you entered and the number of employees you have added to your dashboard, a list of elevated risks, and more. For a more in-depth overview see Risk Analysis Report Overview
