EasyLlama Plans Overview

EasyLlama offers three core solutions: Pay Per Course, Core, and Ultimate.

This article explains what each plan includes at a high level and how to change plans. For detailed pricing, see the Settings > Billing page in your dashboard or visit the public pricing page.

Plan Types

Pay Per Course

Choose from our library of 450+ legally vetted courses, and purchase the number of courses needed to distribute across your Learners. One course = assigning one Learner, to one course, for one year.

Priced per course, not per user. Purchase a specific number of course assignments that can be distributed across your learners. Best for organizations that want to purchase training on an as‑needs basis.

Minimum: 10 courses, sold in increments of 5
Courses do not roll over to the next year if unused
Includes:
- 450+ legally vetted compliance, security, and workplace training courses
- Course Customizations with 65+ templates and AI translations in 35+ languages
- Magic Links, classroom mode, and multi-device training access
- Learning Journeys and automated training workflows
- AI-powered assignments, reminders, and recertifications
- Policy, document, and acknowledgement management
- Anonymous reporting and case management
- Reporting Assistant with AI-powered dashboards and insights

Best for: Organizations that want to purchase training on an as-needed basis.

Core

Choose how many people require training and provide unified compliance and security training in our all-in-one platform with unlimited training access, and built in phishing defense. One user = one assignable Learner seat with unlimited training access for one year.

Minimum: 10 seats, sold in increments of 5
Includes all features in Pay Per Course, plus:
- Unlimited training assignments across the EasyLlama course library
- Automated phishing campaigns for continuous security awareness reinforcement
- 200+ customizable phishing simulation templates with translations in 13 languages
- Phishing remediation and ongoing security awareness reinforcement
- AI-powered risk monitoring with dynamic scoring, risk levels, and real-time threat alerts

Best for: Organizations that want a more scalable, always-on approach to compliance and security training.

Ultimate

Choose how many people you need to train. Create fully custom learning experiences with AI course creation, advanced editing tools, and custom content management. One user = one assignable Learner seat with unlimited training access for one year.

Minimum purchase: 10 seats, sold in increments of 5
Includes everything in Core, plus:
- AI Course Authoring Tool for creating, editing, and publishing fully custom training content
- Prompt-based course creation that uses AI to generate complete courses in minutes
- AI-powered conversion tools that transform PDFs, policies, and existing materials into training content
- AI-powered image generation, narration, and voice tools for faster course creation
- Unlimited SCORM uploads with built-in completion and score tracking

Best for: Organizations that want to create, manage, and scale fully custom training programs in one platform

Legacy Plans

Existing customers who purchased prior to the current pricing and packaging structure are on Legacy EasyLlama plans. Legacy plans can be used unless an upgrade or change in subscription is desired.

Legacy Compliance Plans

These plans only include access to the EasyLlama compliance course library and are structured based on the number of compliance assignments available per Learner each year.

Single: 1 course, per learner, per year
Flex: Up to 3 courses, per learner, per year
Unlimited: Unlimited access to the full EasyLlama course library.

For those looking to upgrade to the new pricing structure:

Pay per course is the closest to the single legacy plan
Core and Ultimate are the closest to the unlimited legacy plan
Flex plans are no longer available, and do not have a direct equivalent.

Legacy Security Awareness Training (SAT)

This standalone plan included an AI-Powered Phishing Simulator, and a dedicated collection of 25+ security awareness training courses.

Within the current pricing structure:

Security Awareness Training Courses are included within the EasyLlama course library.
Core and Ultimate plans include phishing simulations, remediation, and built-in defense.
SAT is no longer sold as a standalone product.

Legacy Learning Management System (LMS)

This standalone plan included LMS functionality, reporting tools, and a built in course authoring tool for creating custom training content.

Within the current pricing structure:

LMS functionality is included directly in all current EasyLlama plans
Ultimate plans include AI powered course creation, SCORM management, and custom content tools
LMS is no longer available as a standalone product.

Legacy All-In-One Bundles

Legacy bundled plans combined Compliance Training, Learning Management System (LMS) functionality, and Security Awareness Training (SAT) into a single package: They are supported for existing customers, but are no longer available for new sales.

Unlimited + LMS
Unlimited + LMS + SAT

Within the current pricing structure:

Current EasyLlama plans integrate compliance training, LMS functionality, and SAT capabilities
Core is the most similar to the Unlimited + SAT legacy bundle
Ultimate is the most similar to Unlimited + LMS or Unlimited + LMS + SAT bundles

How to Upgrade or Change Plans

Sign in to EasyLlama.
Go to Settings > Billing.
Select the number of seats (Core/Ultimate) or courses (Pay Per Course) and plan type.
Review the cost summary for today's charges and recurring annual charges.
Confirm the change.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between per user and per course pricing?

Per user (Core/Ultimate): Pay for one seat, for one learner, for one year. The Learner can be assigned an unlimited number of courses.
Per course (Pay Per Course): Pay for one course assignment, per learner, per year. The Learner can be assigned one course.

What is the minimum purchase?

All plans require a minimum purchase of 10 seats (Core/Ultimate) or 10 courses (Pay Per Course).

Can I switch plans mid-year?

Yes. You can upgrade at any time, and changes are prorated based on the time remaining until your renewal date.

What is included in the Compliance & Workplace Training library?

Access to 400+ expert-developed, legally vetted courses on compliance, workplace behavior, and professional skills. All courses are kept up to date with federal and state regulations.

Can the LMS or Security Awareness Training be sold separately?

Bundles or add-ons are only available for legacy customers who are currently on those plans. EasyLlama plans now include these features:

Every plan has SAT courses available as a part of the EasyLlama course library
Core and Ultimate Plans include phishing simulations and built-in defense
Ultimate Plans include the AI-Course Authoring tool features and functionality

Can I upgrade from a Legacy plan to a current plan?

Yes. Existing customers can upgrade from legacy plans to current EasyLlama plans at any time. Please contact your Customer Success Manager or EasyLlama Support for help reviewing plan options, pricing changes, and upgrade eligibility.

I am a legacy customer, can I add a feature from one of the current plans

No. Any plan change moves the customer to the current pricing and packaging structure. Once a customer upgrades or changes plans, they will no longer remain on legacy pricing.

How do I know which plan is right for me?

Pay Per Course: As‑needs training, occasional assignments
Core: Predictable, unlimited access to all training libraries + phishing simulator
Ultimate: Everything in Core + ability to create custom courses with AI
